First Time We Ever Hung Out

That's right Matt and I are engaged. We are getting married on June 4th, 2010. It seems like forever away but it will be here before you know it. He asked me on July 4th, at the Henefer fireworks, July 4th is my favorite holiday. There's nothing better than fireworks and some bling right? I feel so dumb because I can't even remember what he said because i was in shock, and of course i started crying. It's so weird looking back over the four years that we have been together and what we have been through. The first time I ever hung out with Matt I was trying to getmy old roomie Amanda and him together. Then that didn't work so I tried to hook him up with Kortney, that didn't work. Our first date we went to the Olive Garden and i remember coming home and tell everyone what a freak he was and how I could never go out with him again. Now look at us. I can't get enough of him I freak out when he isn't around. I didn't even see it coming but Kortney so tired to tell me. If it wasn't for Kortney, I'm 100 percent sure that matt and I wouldn't be together today. I can't thank that girl enough for making me open my eyes and seeing what a great guy matt is. Little Alexis

We are expecting a little girl on Jan 9th, 2010. The first five months i just wanted to die. I've never been so sick. Thank god for Matt, he as been so amazing. He has been doing all the cooking, all the cleaning, and being a massage therapist at night. I'm doing a lot better these day just some lower back pain but thanks to Matt and his massaging skills I'm hanging in there, Thanks sweetie. We are really excited because we found a super deal on a crib/mattress and changing table on ksl. The lady told us 100.00 for both and when we got to her house she only charged us $60.00 SWEET!!

We are going to name her Alexis Jeanette Gibbons, it was kinda weird Matt and I were laying in bed going over names. We both said Alexis at the same time, so we had to go with it. Jeanette is Matt's mother name, I can't say enough about Jeanette, she is an incredible lady and going to amazing grandma. After we texted her we were having a girl, within two hours we went over to Matt's parents house to share the pictures. Jeanette already had three outfits for her. I swear every time we go over there she has got something new for her. I have no doubt in my mind that Alexis is going to very spoiled. I don't think Matt and I will ever have to buy christmas i'm sure she will cover it. All joking aside, she is an amzing mother in law and i wouldn't trade her for the world.
